How Al-Falah University Became a Focal Point in the Delhi Red Fort Blast Probe

The probe into the
10 November Red Fort car blast has widened, with investigators now closely examining the alleged links between several accused and Al-Falah University in Faridabad. The blast, which killed 13 people and left the capital on high alert, has led security agencies to track digital trails, rented properties, and professional affiliations of the suspects.

According to officials, multiple accused including doctors and academic staff have confirmed connections to the university. Investigators believe that certain campus locations, especially Room 13 of Building 17, may have been used for meetings, messaging, and logistical coordination before the explosion. Evidence recovered from the site reportedly includes notebooks, coded references, and digital storage devices.

The investigation also uncovered rented houses in Faridabad believed to be used as safe locations for assembling materials and storing explosive components. Proximity between these rentals and the university raised suspicions that the accused leveraged the area for ease of movement and secure communication.

Digital forensics have revealed that the suspects allegedly relied on encrypted messaging platforms, private servers, and unregistered SIM connections. CCTV footage from the university premises shows vehicles linked to one of the accused, further strengthening the campus angle.

Meanwhile, Al-Falah University has denied institutional involvement, stating that any staff member’s alleged criminal activity does not reflect the university’s role. The institution says it is cooperating fully with law enforcement.

Security experts note that the development highlights a concerning trend of radical networks attempting to exploit academic institutions for cover, logistics, and mobility. Investigators are now mapping the wider network and verifying whether more individuals connected to academic or medical circles were involved.

Authorities are expected to release further details as forensic analysis and interrogations progress.
